This course is delivered over one and a half days on campus at the National Centre for Food Manufacturing in Holbeach, with an additional half day allocated for delegates to complete an internal audit within their own workplace.
The taught element of the course is delivered through a mixture of workshop-led discussions, practical activities, and presentations. Following the on-campus delivery, delegates are required to undertake a live audit in their own work environment, applying the skills and techniques acquired during the course. Delegates will receive feedback on their audit performance and guidance on how to further develop their auditing techniques.
An understanding and working knowledge of quality management systems within the relevant manufacturing/processing environment would be a distinct advantage but is not essential.
Assessment of delegates takes place throughout the course. Delegates will also undertake a workplace audit and submit an audit report for assessment.
